Question !HELP! 03 Evo Vibration/rattling noise from driveshaft

Can someone please help me with a very annoying problem I have been struggling with which consists of an irritating vibrating/rattling sound that emerges from the front driveshaft area.

These are the following items that I have tried to experiment with to resolve the problem but have failed in doing so.
- Changing Clutch & throw-out bearing (brand new from exedy)
- Swapped transmissions
- Replaced driveshaft
- Replace Downpipe & catalytic converter
- Inspected the Motor mounts & Tranny Mounts
- Inspected & redid the Timing belt according to specs
- Cleaned out Throttle Body with Carb cleaner

Below are 2 videos in which you can hear the noise that the driveshaft makes when revving the engine to 3-4k rpms.
(1st video driveshaft on)
(2nd video driveshaft off)

Bump cause I have a very similar problem. Thinking about just replacing the driveshaft.

I had exactly what you were describing and it ended up being my transfer case. You can grab a long screwdriver and put it to your ear while putting the driver end on the spots you think it's coming from. It will be very obvious when you come closer and closer to the culprit. Also this may sound obvious but put your hand on each heat shield and hold it against the body to see if one is the culprit. Lastly, be careful under those jack stands

Found out what it can be.

I've been looking around and researching about this noise and I found this guy on YouTube having the same noise. I guess it could be the balance shaft went out or is not timed right.

Here is his video:

I'll try to take the car to a shop to retime or replace my balance shaft, see if that fixes the problem..

I found that video yesterday and am retiming my car tonight as the previous owner had a shop do the timing belt install. Transfer case went back in but that noise still was present. Watch that guys other video and youll notice that the balance shaft can be 360 degrees out

just finished 360ing the balance shaft and vibration is gone. Unfortunate to see the previous owner got charged 750 at a shop for a timing belt job and they used autozone parts =[

I did it myself. Not my first rodeo timing a 4g. Anyway, heres the pic I took the other day while doing it. It took me 4 hours but I was on the phone half the time and texting my high maintenance friends. I didn't loosen the tensioner pulley but rather pulled the auto tensioner and re-pinned it then reinstalled. I also didn't loosen the **** out of the belt but impacted the oil pump sprocket off, spun the shaft 360* and put the sprocket back on. This way you can slide it into the belt as opposed to loosening the belt and putitng it ON the sprocket. Hope this makes sense. It's the sprocket on the right. See how it's lined up correctly? Well it's actually wrong, 360 and you're good to go. My vibration is gone and boy is it nice!

oh and sorry to hear about the fires out there man. I have a house in the Colorado Springs area and am coming out in 12 days to make sure everything is kosher. I'm hoping it doesn't turn into a tour of damage =[

Nice! This might be a project for this weekend. I may have to hit you up if I come up with any questions haha

But yeah the fires here are gnarly. The one west of foco is the worst colorado's ever had. Or the second worst I forget. But yeah a whole town just to the west of Colorado springs was evacuated, like 10k people or something crazy.
