I was about to ask the same question. Log baro as well and see what it does - sudden baro drops when the boost drops and its probably sucking shut.

I'm beginning to believe this is the case, it's old and maybe needs a replacment, also I may just get a metal one that fits the air box. I was looking at another log of someone else with the tube collapsing, and their boost drop was almost equivalent to mine, just at a lower boost pressure.

Sounds like your intake snorkel is sucking to the hood. Sounds weird I know, but mine had the same exact symptoms and I found that the two plastic clips weren't holding it to the radiator support.

^ nailed it, this was my issue. I took it off did a few pulls and it was perfect, put it back on and had the issue again, thanks!!!!
