O2 Dump Issues

My EPM O2 dump has exhaust leaking out of it at idle (smokes on startup out of the dump tube). This is causing my AFR at cruise to be all over the place, and my idle isn't great.

Could this be the result of my FP actuator being tightened down too much? I had my tuner loosen it to remove my boost creep issue, but it still leaks and I'm tempted to switch back to my stock O2 housing.

This leads me to believe that exhaust is flowing around a slightly opened waste gate at idle. How do I fix this?

you need SOME preload on the flapper, undo the pin and see if the arm just slides off the flapper lever, if it's that loose you may need to tighten it up some. You should have to at least pull a little bit to get the arm on there

And did that actually get rid of the boost creep anyways???

Do you have the correct gasket? Otherwise it's a wastegate issue.

Plus one, this is the right track.

Thanks for your response. Loosening the preload did help significantly with the boost creep. My previous tuner (not TTP) cranked the wga all the way down because it wasn't putting out the numbers it should have. TTP loosened the wga, fiddled with the tune, and made more power (still not where it should be).

I'll fiddle with it and see if I can get a little preload on it like you say.

I HAD the correct gasket on there originally, but the other shop (who will remain anonymous) might not have put the gasket back on there. I will check that as well.
