Synapse BOV + 3 port wiring

- Synapse port C is connected to the High Pressure Boost Source (compressor housing nipple) and tee'd into Grimmspeed port 3

- Grimmspeed port 2 is connected to the WGA

- Grimmspeed port 1 is left VTA (running the FP 84mm intake)

just wanted to verify that this is the correct way of running the vacuum lines. thanks guys

p.s sorry about the ghetto picture, i'm not at home so Microsoft Paint will have to do for the time being

i dont know much about the synapse, but i see no reason why you would ever tee it like that. everything should have its own boost source.

thanks for the response n2oiroc, that's the exact reason why i posted this, because per Synapse's installation manual:

"Connecting Port C to a Boost Only Source must be performed on any system running more than 7psi of boost pressure. This allows the Syncronic BOV to have the same opening force no matter how much boost you run"

now according the the Grimmspeed 3 port manual: "Port 3 connects to a high pressure boost source (there is a vacuum nipple on the turbo compressor outlet"

the high pressure boost source should be any open port on the intake manifold. anything on the intake manifold is fine, all the ports directly on the intake see the same vacuum/boost. if you dont have enough nipples on the intake, then you should get a vacuum block like this. no matter what, do not tee off the fuel pressure regulator or boost control solenoid.

according to the Synapse manual, ports A/B of the BOV should be ".. directly connected to [a vacuum source in] the intake manifold after the throttle body."

this is what it is connected to right now

am i better off just sending the BOV to Synapse to have port "C" removed?

what are the cons about tee'ing into the connection between the 3port and compressor nipple?
