Wastegate vacuum line set up
Recently installed Scorke's old AFI Twin Scroll T4 set-up, but replaced with a GTX35R T4 1.06 turbo.
Kit has dual Tial 44mm WG's, like these

He shipped it fully assembled and had heat shielded lines running to both top and bottom ports on the WG's. From what I've been reading, when using with a Grimmspeed 3 port, I should only use the bottom port and the top one should be vented to atmosphere. Does that sound right?
Port #3 on the Grimmspeed box should connect to a nipple on the turbo. My turbo does not have a nipple and I really don't want to remove it to tap it.
Can I tap somewhere else pre throttle body?
Thanks,
Fred

This link makes it more confusing to me, as they aren't set-up the same as the instructions on Grimmspeed's website. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...astegates.html
Sorry I would help but I am also unclear on how to set my dual 44s up.
I want to go hybrid boost tscomp swears by it but after talking to STM they say straight MBC and the you have the standard 3 port setup....soooo

MBC<3Port<Wastegate
You use all three the theory is the MBC spools the turbo faster but with addition of 3 port you can change WG duty and raise boost to keep torque and power from falling off in higher rpm
