Mainly in 4th i get a goaning/scratch sound when letting off the gas at high rpms most noticable in 4th, is it my sprung act 6 puck with 10lb act flywheel making the noise? Or is it the mitsubishi normal drivetrain noise? The noise is not overly obnoxious but its noticable enough to make you shift to neutral or 5th not to hear it. what leads me to think its the clutch is the fact that it makes noise at idle bc its an act...

Does it go away if you depress the clutch? If so, it is probably your clutch making the noise. Twins are bad about decel noise. Mine makes some noise when I take my foot off the gas on the highway but goes away as soon as I depress the clutch. Hope this helps.

 

yes when i put the car in neutral it goes away im pretty sure if i press the clutch it goes away also
