Rods and pistons?

Hey, I'm just wondering what rods and pistons you guys are running/ would recommend, and what kind of gains you saw after install?
I going to do some upgrading soon and debating if I should do rods and pistons too. Currently looking at Manley rods and JE or AMS pistons...
Right now it has Kelford 272 cams and Supertech dual springs and retainers with ARP head studs, otherwise rest on the motor is stock. Basic bolt on with stock turbo, but going to e85,and for sure upgrading fuel rail, injectors, ic, licp, bov. And possibly uicp as well.
Thanks for any advice you can give.

I'd use manley and JE as well. I saw 100hp gains from 20psi (93) to 30psi(e85) but I did a full 2.3 build (stock turbo still)

I would use Wiseco HD Pistons, honestly. I had JE's in my last 10:1 2.0L, and they are extremely slap happy as they use less silicone coating then other pistons. Your motor will sound like it's going to explode on a cold start .

Manley makes a good H-Beam rod. I think the gains are seen more in displacement and clearances than just replacing engine components themselves, though.

I've heard good things about Wiseco too. So you think it would be better to go with H-beam Manleys then the I-beams?

The I-beams are going to be stronger but obviously will cost more. Depending how far you are going to take your setup H-beams may suffice and there have been some that have taken H-beams pretty far. If in the future you decide to step it up then I would recommend I-beams that way they are already in there and you won't have to second guess yourself about pushing the setup hard. Many people have had great success with Wiseco HD's or JE's with Manley turbo tuff I-beam rods as it is a pretty solid setup and most people won't even begin to touch the limits of that combination.

When you were running 30psi on the stock turbo what were you running for a bov?
