Buschur Racing turbo kits & dyno numbers
The manifolds are being CNC'd right NOW. I guess the availability is as soon as you place the order and we get the manifold back they will ship.
I know we have a couple of orders here for them already. Supply shouldn't be a problem.

Oh, it does look like there is a very good chance that these kits are going to come with the new Garrett water cooled housing with full ball bearing. I am going to have to wait and see on the price. The non water cooled, non ball bearing turbo may be a cheaper option on the turbo kit.

Thanks David... I was the one whining about water cooled center sections though. Someone else was *****ing about the ball bearing issue. You've got me a little spooked about the BB sections for a long term daily driver. I know they have proved reliable in other applications, but if they might be an issue on mine, I'm not interested.
as odd as this sounds, I'd be really interested in an upgraded stock turbo, I already have things like a JIC exhaust manifold and getting a stainless O2 housing.. My gut is telling me that for my combination an upgraded stock housing turbo is where I'd like to go.. So, how much, and when?
What testing failed?
Is the stock turbo grade different than the BR475 turbo?
Sorry I am a little confused.
The stock turbo upgrade changes the internals only?
The BR475 changes the whole turbo. Right?
Did the BR475 Fail or just the stock upgrade?
Once again, sorry but I am confused.

I would like to know if your tubo kit and staged upgrades would benifit with the addition of an aftermarket fuel rail kit? FPR?
How about with the new intake manifold?
ARP head studs? Thicker Gasket?
If any would apply, How much additional monies would you require for those items to be installed?
thank you, Thomas

Quote from Random Cat website (note the need for inspection of the orginal cat and requirement for replacement.)
"Under Federal EPA regulation, replacement of original catalytic converters is allowed only if the original converter(s) is missing, or the vehicle has more than 50,000 miles or is at least five years old and the need for a replacement has been established and documented, or a local inspection program has determined the existing converter is in need of replacement."
What they don't say is that depending on the smog referee, they may/maynot accept a high flow cat.
(I know of somebody that failed smog due to having a CARB certified cat, but because it wasn't stock diameter... )
I am thinking about just using a testpipe (or 3" cat), and swapping out to the original cat when i have to take it in, but i would prefer not have to hassle with it...
