Buschur Racing turbo kits & dyno numbers
"We did a cast manifold over a tubular header" meant "We chose to do a cast manifold versus a tubular header" He was not implying that he had a cast header wrapped around a tubular header. I am quite sure his cast manifold will accept an EGT probe.

We can put an EGT probe in the manifold. That is correct, we did not put a cast manifold OVER a tube header.

Yes, we dyno'd the BR500. This newest version made 505 whp, a few posts back you can find some of the numbers. We are going to swap cams in the car before we do anymore testing and see what happens. The 272's seemed to kill the bottom end with this turbo and did nothing for the top end.
BTW, there are two customer cars here getting the turbo kits put on. These are the first two off the CNC machine, triple checking that everything works before we start shipping kits.
Take care,

WOW - two people already getting the turbo kits... SWEET...
Keep up the good work. Once everything is finalized with your kits and you have decided on a Stage 5, I will be calling to schedule an appointment. Just don't make it too soon, I am still paying off Stage 4
I love my Stage 4 and I love the Flash. You make great products and the service is excellent. I could not be happier with the work you did on my Evo. Thanks again...
Keep up the great work....

So the BR440 and BR500 testing was done with 272's? Did you try the 264/272 combo? I heard the intake flows better than the exhaust on the stock head and that this is the best setup.

No, the BR500 was tested with the 272's, the low end on the turbo isn't what we think it should be compared to the BR440. We are going to switch back now and see what happens to the low end torque/hp.
The intake does flow a little better than the exhaust on the stock head. We did not try a 264/272 combo.

Hey David,
Just wanted to say that I'm really impressed with your products and customer loyalty.
When I get my Evo, I'm going to have to stop by and finally meet you and talk to you about the car, as well as mods.
Any warranties on the products?
Keep up the good work... can't wait to see the final BR500 numbers and kit

Buschur, I had a question regarding the stock like turbo upgrade. I was wondering if the upgrade was somthing like the MMC that z-1 performance was selling. I haven't seen any testing paper work on the 16g upgraded turbos that they have for sale which is why I am waiting for your results before I purchase but they show a couple of different options so I didn't know if you were going to test a couple of different upgraded 16g turbos or if yours was just a strictly custom built option. Thanks in advance and I hope that this question hasn't already been asked. Z-1 Performace link below
