Someone here is already running the bigger turbo of that bunch and liked it, but didn't seem to rave about it... it's on the last couple of pages of the stickied Turbo thread.

The BR500 has been dyno'd and done, made 505 whp. Just pulled it off our car, as we are STILL waiting for these manifolds to get finished, and are overnighting it to Robert Fuller for a race he has coming up.

The BR580 is on a car that is here and just ran an 11.31 at 123 mph at 23 psi of boost.

The stock appearing upgrade is exclusive to us and is going to use a CNC'd custom compressor wheel. I have been told ANOTHER 4 weeks on those still.

Give us some more details about the BR500 you just ran David. Will there ever be a pump gas tune? Boost at what rpm?

David,

Did you ever put the 264's back in with the BR500 to check out the low end??? Do you think the 272's give up the low end and the 264's are still the way to go with the bigger turbos???

Nice Job David. You guys keep in mind the new time is at 23 psi, the 580 likes to run more boost than that. That's easily a 10 sec car with a few more psi.

Mr. Buschur,

Will that stock upgraded turbo require bigger injectors if im only planning to use it with pump gas?
