ACD warning light: only fault code 65

Hey guys I have been getting an intermitent acd failure that started last summer. The veicle has 25,240 mls. All three lights light up either while on the highway for a prolonged period of time or when just starting the vehicle. When disconnecting the battery the function is regained but on some occasions it will comeback almost instantly... I have jumped pins 1 and 4 and read code 65 from the dash. I have checked all the acd pump connections (at the pump) all appears to be o.k. Has anyone else had this code stored and if so what was the fix??

Code 65-ABS monitor system - Broken wire or ABS failure
I have no abs warning light illuminated...
ACD fluid level is o.k.

If a wheel speed sensor is faulty would my abs light not be illuminated??
Im thinking I must have a wire partially shorted to b+ or b- which would explain the intermitent nature of this fault... any thoughts?

I have found this in regards to code 65
http://www.lancerregister.com/showthread.php?t=239877

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...ease-help.html

Advice of where I should look, possible issues or what connector intergrity may have been comprimised with corrosion and what not would be great

I realize there is quite a lot of information regarding the horrid 3 acd lights but not much infor about actual fixes to issues such as my code 65

Any help is greatly apreciated,
Kind regards and thanks in advance,
Chris

check the connectors by driver and passenger feet in the footwell... those want to corrode because sometimes water drips slowly inside... I had the same problem on the left side and my wipers went beserk.. could be your problem...

Also, there was a replacement relay for the ACD pump. Think it was a $4 part from Mitsu. They discontinued the old relay due to faults.

Note that it was NOT a recall.

I found this out when Mitsu USA replaced my ACD pump under warranty (allowed under the suspension warranty for some reason).

The relay you're talking about is the one on the firewall to the right of the abs module. There are two relays there. The one on the left is for the acd and the one on the right is for the fuel pump. That's the relay you are referring to correct?
