Strange Noises from New Exedy Clutch

I just had a Exedy Stage 1 HD Organic clutch installed by JNZ Tuning close to 1000 miles ago. I have been getting some weird noise mostly in reverse. It sounds like a bov fluttering kinda without the flutter. It happens when slipping the clutch, for example when i am backing into my garage there is a slight step up to get into it. To be able to control how fast im going, i have to slip the clutch alittle bit, instead of just completely letting the clutch out and going. It will happen no matter how high or low the rpms are.

I thought it was the bov fluttering at first until it kept happening followed by the smell of a burnt clutch. It will happen in first gear as well under heavy load like starting on a big hill or pulling into my garage. Anytime i have to slip the clutch alittle bit. This is a noise i have never heard before in my 15 years of dsm experience so im not really 100% whats happening and if there is anything i can do to fix it. Does the clutch need adjusted? Hope my explaination of the noise is good enough. I just don't want this new clutch to get fried.

what did you have installed? did you change the throw out bearing? pivot ball? clutch fork? most importantly did you get your stock flywheel resurfaced? it is possible the clutch isnt getting full engagemnet/or dissengaging properly.

I didnt do it, JNZ Tuning put it in for me. They replaced everything, new TOB, new clutch fork, flywheel resurfaced and so on. Clutch engages perfectly fine normally, it just makes that weird noise when slipping it

if you're sitting neutral and you engage the clutch then release it, does it make any noise when its released vs engaged?

you need to adjust your clutch pedal, sounds like the clutch isn't fully disengaging. hence the smell of a burning clutch
