Go Fast Blitz bov help

Hello, i just took my car out of storage from the winter and i installed the go fast blitz bov and i just cant seem it figure this thing out... i looked on utube too figure out how too adjust the spring but for some reason it just keeps fluttering...

Is it because i have a intake system?? I mean it doesint flutter when it above 3 1/2 RPM's but anything lower than that it makes a weird fluttering noise... i was told from the utube video that this is bad for your turbo... so im trying to get this thing adjusted perfect. Please give me adive. Thanks.

I remember someone on this forum saying that there bov always makes a fluttering sound under 3 rpm's because of there intake... is this the same problem i have?

I am pretty sure it is compressor surge, but I don't know how to fix it. Any ideas?

BTW i have the BOV all the way too the " -" sign... so i think that means its 100% Recur. Then i tryed turning it a few notches so i can get too 50/50 but it just makes a louder fluttering noise...
Is this normal?

THANKS.

Another thing i might add.... when i release the throttle at or after 3 1/2 rpms it makes a fluttering noise but when i hit the clutch in at 3 1/2 rpms then it works perfectly fine and sounds very nice.

i have the same problem. there is no getting rid of it. my best guess is because it just doesnt flow enough regardless of spring presure.but to increase the vloume of air going through it use both ports opn which is pretty much in the middle. and the little bit of surge it has isnt enough to damage anything

Arghh seriously!? Well i guess that sucks... I was reading on it and some people took it apart and cleaned it an oiled it then they said it worked. But i dont know if it was bs. Either way i guess i will try leaving it on 50/50 and just deal with it.

Are you sure it's installed correctly? Or just get a better DV.

Do you have a "Go fast bits aka GFB" BOV or a "Blitz" BOV. They are two different companies.

Theses BOV's hate cold weather and will flutter no matter what if its below 35 or so. i have mine on the softest setting and it only fluuters at 0-5 psi anything above that it just sounds normal. I still switched back to a stock IX bov and crushed it. Running 30psi on it all day, and still no leaks

Okay well i bought this bov from someone on this fourm and it did not come with any manuals or anything... so just incase i am going too ask anyway... The " +" sign is too VTA the valve which means too tighten the spring? and the " - " sign means that the bov is Recirculating and that is loosening the spring adjustment correct?

the + and - signs are for spring pressure only. look a little further down the body of the bov past the vacume line nipple where there are indents to grab and twist. Turn this and look inside the trumpet you will know what i mean after that.

On a second note look at the youtube videos that GFB has. The videos are on a subaru, but the bovs are identical.
