Get the Comp HD from VRSpeedFactory. They sell it for $400 as compared to most who sell it for $500 and change.

Edit your OP and remove the junk about street racing.

If you're only just over the stock hp/tq, I don't see why you couldn't just get another stock clutch. Just my opinion though.
i'm with you.

That or whatever single plate Exedy makes that's over the stock one (prob out of OP's price range though). Stock sounds like a good plan in a car with roughly 250whp

Well to retain driveability and hold a handful of solid launches every year. I would definitely have to recommend any of the ACT or COMP street discs of even 6 pucks. People are going to have their opinions of course, but you are not shooting for any crazy power numbers. The launches are going to feel better on a sprung 6 puck of course and will not disappoint you with traction. But the longevity your looking for it fails in. Therefore, IMO I would lean more towards a sprung street disc in whatever brand you decide. And don't forget about the flywheel! Lighter may be better for throttle response, but weight definitely is more forgiving for driveability! GOOD LUCK

Cant afford a flywheel at this time but im going to get my stocker resurfaced and use this clutch for as long as the power can hold it i want a solid 3 years out of it before I upgrade to a higher power clutch if i need one....End goals for my project evo 8 are 400-450whp so about 380-430 ft/lb which is where this clutch is limited too So with that being said the HD comp kit is going to be what im going with over all cheaper and thats what I need the most bang for my buck
