EGT probe, which cylinder?

Hey guys. I have a zeitronix system i want to install and i just wanted to ask which cylinder is the "hot" one i should install the EGT probe on.

First to cam gears is good, or first to opposite side. There is a topic with intake manifold tests, it shows that most lean afr at those cylinders, so max temp. will be there ....

cylinder 2 is where i have mine..supposedly the hottest.

I had been told by a tuner that my best bet was to put a probe into each cylinder to compare the individual cylinders to eachother. It sounds overly elaborate for my application.

Ideally, the probe should be mounted in the exhaust manifold runner of the cylinder most likely to run the leanest. Based on our 4G63 experience, this would normally be cylinder #1 or #2 and, judging from plug readings, the Evo 4G63 is no different.
