For all those with a CEL and no cat
I did mine a month ago and I have 1200 miles and so far its working like a jewel.
I have the Helix cat-delete/Race pipe.

Where on the 18mm Spark Plug Anti Foul Adaptor do yo0u drill the hole. Can I use my 1/2" drill bit and just go at it. I dont understand whats so hard about the drilling part and why its so important to do it right. How can it be done wrong? Any tips?
There is a hole already in the bottom of the adapters. The hole is ~1/4" in diameter, you just need to drill it out larger. The tip of the o2 sensor will fit through the hole, as it's just a bit longer (deeper) than the adapter. There's no trick to drilling it, except to make sure it's centered so you don't weaken the threads. Only drill out one adapter, leave the other one as-is. Assembly goes like this:
Pipe <- undrilled adapter <- drilled adapter <- o2 sensor
Pipe <- undrilled adapter <- drilled adapter <- o2 sensor
I'm in going to purchase prolly the Buschur turbo back and i hate cutting and hacking wires, especially O2 wires
...Glad to see this trick works, was planning the same thing... the Helix testpipe has a "similar" set up... i didn't wanna mix and match the buschur dp, helix tp, buschur catback... thanks for the great posts guys...

I take out my cat before driving to a track event, then put it back in when I get back home. I spaced out the O2 sensor using the two adapters described in this thread.
I've had the CEL come on twice after about 300 miles of driving ( I live a long way from any tracks!). Disconnecting the battery resets the ECU and the light goes away. At least on my car, this fix works most of the time, but not all the time.

My lord, the Perrin CEL eliminator works perfect, I installed it myself and I am about as retarded as you can get. No problems. Easy instruction. One complaint I have about the piece is that they dont give you enough wire coming out of it to splice into the existing O2 wiring. Grrr. Nothing a retard cant handle. =)
Ahh, I just installed my UR test pipe. I had to extend the o2 sensor wiring so that it would reach the bung in the test pipe. I have about 100 miles on it and quite a few WOT pulls and so far Zero CELs!
I believe the UR test pipe and the Helix are the same design.
