for racing and droping the clutch all the time then yes take out the restrictor.... but for everyday driving leave IN the restrictor... or bye-bye clutch or even drivetrain...

Nope. For racing if you drop the clutch without a restrictor say goodbye to your tranny or transfer case. Like I said, if you know how to slip the clutch on your own without "nanny mitsu" watching over you then take out the restrictor. If you don't want to have to worry about doing it right then leave it in and don't worry about it.

Keith

PS: either way, Mitsubishi will blame YOU for abusing the car when your clutch goes out...bone stock or modified to the hilt.

ok here's my last 2 cents........... if you want to void your powertrain and your warrenty.... take out the restrictor... if you want to keep the warr. leave the restrictor in.....
and it has been proven with a few EVO's already that took out the restrictor.... they messed up there tranfer cases and some even trannys... but everyone i know that left it in doesn't have a problem... and i left mine in on the evo and on my mid 12 sec daily driver 90 gsx and it never had a problem... so decide on your own people...... atleast my 2 cents you can put in the bank....
