Let me say WOW!!! I was at an evo-ny meet at pruvens dynoday. Well I was like how big of a difference can it make, let me tell you. You know exactly when the clutch will engage. The clutch peddle feels so much better it is amazing! I will be doing this as my next upgrade. Clutch feels like a 350z! Totally gets rid of the clutch problem, making shifting so damn smooth.

Serioulsy a great upgrade for the feel of the drive, I will be doing mine very very soon.

We have the clutch line kits in stock for those of you interested in them. What it does it gets rid of the rubber line that is on the car now. Firms up the feel.

We have not changed the one on our EVO yet but have changed them on every DSM in the past we have done. Worthwhile upgrade.

I know this has been discussed many times...

My understanding was that the "pill" was supposed to be removed when doing a SS clutch line. Am I wrong?

Also, if anyone knows, what exactly is the pill and why should it be removed?

Just like anywhere else, the DOT has "officers" who think that driving barefoot is illegal. As I understand it, and I've done a fair amount of searching the internet to find out, there is NO state in the United States that prohibits driving barefoot. But once you're issued a ticket for doing so, it's up to the recipient of the ticket to prove the law. And that's a royal pain when you're 1200 miles from home!

Let's get back on topic -- steel clutch lines...sounds like it would firm up the feel of the clutch in the same manner as SS brake lines...

yes it is a PIA to change the clutch line.... and you have to prime it or have a good vacuum to prime it when doing it....
the pill is for the boost sol. i think doesn't have any thing to do with the clutch line

It took about 45 minutes, that included dropping that nasty copper washer a few times on re-install, and removing the restrictor. The clutch feel is great now but it still has the abillity to grind 2nd gear if you're not careful. It is much more precise and has a more pressured feel..... still nothing close to an ACT 2700lb though, lol.

Definately should be a 1st on the list of upgrades.
