So, I'm going to install my new grimmspeed ebcs soon and I was looking around under the hood and low and behold the factory boost control has been swapped out for some cheap looking, plastic top MBC. No wonder there was no change when I tuned boost back to stock! I mean I got .6 more PSI on the avg. but that was from A/F Ratio changes. You know, I had glanced over it millions of times but I could have sworn it was the stock solenoid.

Well, it's not so my question is where is the stock harness for the bcs. I would like to know where it runs from so I can locate it before I put the grimmspeed in. I really hope it wasn't 'deleted'.

I went through everything else and found Swift Springs also. There were no other little surprises. And there I was thinking I was doing something lol.

BTW- the MBC is holding set for 20psi from what I'm logging but it does taper. I thought that wasn't supposed to happen. I read that once an MBC was installed that all of that sort of thing is cut from the equation.

 

stock BCS harness runs togeather with MAF meter... just look under the MAF... you should find a 2 pin connector..
