Hello Boys...

My car is Dropping RPM's Like crazy.... For. Eg...If i pull 3rd gear to an extent where it comes under load and finish my run , put the car to neutral to slow down..the rpm's come down quickly almost to 500 causing the car to stall..

Dangerous at high speed if it stalls...

what do you think is the problem?? is it a mechanical issue causing it or whether its ECU related? (Stock ECU)

Car is Running a 30r with all the basic bolt and GSC'2

Could be a number of things. Dirty throttle body/IAC, BOV, boost leak, tune, just start checking things out and eliminate some stuff.

 

Do a boost leak test and go from there..this is a common problem on all of our evos mostly 8 & 9..anyways do some research there's a lot of threads on Evom about this. Usually the tb shaft seals, Iac valve and Egr valve will commonly cause this. if I were you I'd start checking for a Boost leak and go from there.
