Hey bud, nothing yet. Once I get settled into my new apartment (> June 21) I will be giving the corporate headquarters guy a call to 'check up' on the situation.

Believe you me if there is no fix at that point I am not exactly going to hold back.

Funny thing in my situation is I just reached 20000 miles miles and before I would get the PO300 everyday on the freeway at least once going to work and back....Now After 20000 miles the PO300 rarely comes on maybe once a week oppossed to 14 times a week ...

Has to be the tranny and since its breaking in the frequency is changing I guess...Mitsu will probably wait untill all the trannies are broken in ....Sorry about your probs webguy feel your pain....

IT'S BACK!!!!!!!!!!

Even with a new tranny, it only took 4K miles to come back. They are looking into it and I am waiting.

Good Bye EVO

YEE HAW!!! I got rid of my Evo under the Lemon Law and Mitsubishi paid my loan off as well as put some money in my pocket. P0300 was the reason for the Lemon Law buy back. Be aware of this code. Mitsu has done a major tune-up replaced multiple sensors, computers and my tranny. Anyway, I'm happy as heck . I'll never buy another Mitsu product again, especially there cars. I'm waiting for the Legacy STI, If I lose my patience i'll pick up the GT. Good Luck to all you EVO owners with the P0300 problem.

I got the call yesterday. The code has arrived from Japan. The technical service bulletin has been written. Release date is set for 3-4 weeks. I asked what they will do for me until then and I'm waiting to hear back.

Please keep us posted. It will be best if you can provide us the TSB number in the future. I just can't wait to get it fixed!

I dealt with 2 dealerships Burlingame, Ca & Modesto, Ca. My EVO was primarily stock. It had a cat back system which I replaced with the stock system after the 2nd time I brought it into the shop for the P0300 problem. I do alot of highway driving and the misfire was really, really bad.

jess. Did they buy back the car outright? Or did they give you a $$ amount based on miles of useage?

SC~

They actually worked off my purchase contract + tax & licence. Mitsu does take money for miles and usage, not much though. They paid off my loan balance plus gave me back all the payments (11) I made less miles, plus they paid my attorney fees except for 500 bucks.

We have heard this same promise for months and months. So I am still holding my breath . I'm thinking that if a solution was so close at hand, why would Mitsu still be buying back cars?

Please don't confuse my post as being negative. I wish the solution was only days away also.
