Maybe this has been done before but i could not find a thread. Name all sorts of drivetrain noises your car makes, what speeds, Accel or decel, highway driving, normal driving, as much info as possible. Thought maybe this can help me and some other members having trouble with noises on their cars find out the source.

 

Mine is noisy as hell and it's gotten on my nerves lately.... Most noticeable at speeds over 40 mph...it resonates an awful hum throughout the cabin on the gas, as the revs gets higher it high pitch hums like "werrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr" .....but i cant hear it with the windows open so it must be resonating through the chassis .....i have a drive shaft shop aluminum drive shaft, ES red front motor mount, ES red diff and mustache bushings... It feels like I have oval wheels and tires when in gear and coasts fine in neutral....it also jerks when in gear when I let off the gas, not a smooth deceleration at all. I wanna replace every moving part under my car to fix it but it may be cheaper to buy another NB Miata ....the most non problematic car I've ever owned. 😕
