Evo 8/9 oil filter housing question????

Are the evo 8/9 oil filter housings the same or are there slight differences?? On STM there's a $10 difference between the 2, but on other websites there's only one option and it says (evo 8/9 oil filter housing) meaning they're the same according to the website. I have an evo 8 and I'm looking for an oil filter housing and I have a buddy with a blown evo 9 that'll sell me his housing, just wanted to clear up the confusion on the fitment and any possible differences. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

evo 9 has an extra bung for the stock oil pressure sensor. just did mine. Im sure you could just plug it up, or add your a/m oil pressure/temp sensor there

Good deal, thanks for the response, I was running a sandwich plate for my aem oil pressure, it'd be great if I can eliminate that with the 9 housing
