Your wording was odd and still is in your original post. I use proper grammar most of the time and I feel I have very understandable posts.

But a poor quality turbo from a manufacturer whether it is a t2 or t6 frame turbo has relavance. A poor product is a poor product. Also you stated that the turbos are used not as intended by the manufacturer of the car but they are being used within the scope of the turbos design parameters. You also used the term "knockoff" which implys some cheaper quality copy to the item in question.

I've been running the same T4 70mm Comp Turbo since 08. Just switched to a T4 ETT 6767 this year. I'll call and speak to Justin or Joe on this subject because it would be a good move for them with a stock frame trubo. As for the turbo there is a guy with a civic I know that at 35psi just made 928whp on a T3 .82 Comp turbo 6767.

If you want to know about what I have click here https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ot...most-done.html

That'd be sweet. I think it would be a good move for comp to go with a stock frame turbo setup. Cheaper, but just as reliable. I never got a reply back to my email

Who did you email? I can't say it'll be cheaper lol. Some of their stuff like the oil-less turbos etc can be up there in price. But you never know. I'll talk to them.

I just called and spoke to Justin about these inquiries. He advised me they are in the process of making a stock frmae evo 8/9 turbo. They just have to do the turbine housing and everything else shouldn't be an issue. I would call them and talk to them. Unless i can't get thru when I call I never email on first contact.

Yeah, he said 12-16 weeks a couple of weeks ago. Did he mention any specifics? Journal bearing? Ball Bearing? Price range? Flow rates?

I won't be getting a comp turbo right now anyways, as I got my eyes set on an FP Green, but it would be good to know in the future if I decide to change out turbos again.

No updates from me. I haven't heard back from them.

Sort of lost interest after I got my FP Green. I would've tried the comp turbo if I heard more info or if they got back to me, but they didn't

Consider yourself lucky! That's the best result you could have had. FP Green is a beast.

It's an OG FP Green, so it's not really much better than the IX turbo. I would've rather gone with a newer designed turbo that would give me a little bit more power reliably then the OG Green.

If you want something that is comparable to the FP Black, there's alllllll sorts of different turbos out there. Blouch, CBRD, Garrett, Borg EFR, MAP EF Series, Comp, Precision, they all have turbos that would be similar to a FP Black. Some may be cheaper, and some may be a little bit more expensive.
