I assumed an HTA Green. That is a badass Turbo.

I was informed of this turbo back in January by someone who works directly with Justin and Comp Turbo. The last update I had was in February. "The hot sides are in and the just need to be machined, should see complete units late April." It's now June and still no release. Tired of waiting, I pulled the trigger on an AMS V-Band 6466 kit. I've heard no more updates as to what the delay is with this turbo.

Good catch man. I was just saw the bolt-on section and copied it here, didn't actually look at it.

I forgot all about this post lol. Well I'll call Justin and get info on the drop in turbo. Here is some info on my partial dyno session of my comp 6767.

Ok I called and spoke to Justin. They haven't forgot about the people who have emailed them etc but have been super busy. They are in process of completing the bolt on turbo but admitted it has taking longer then expected but they want to put out a quality product. They are close to being done.

Any ideas on the specs of this new turbo?

I never thought to ask. I don't see the compressor wheels being an issue. So the main factor would be the size of the turbine wheel. I'll get the info as they get closer to the completion of the turbine housing

Just bumping this. I heard again recently from someone else talking about getting one, but after an extensive google search I couldn't up with anything.

A cousin of mine knows someone high up who works at Comp turbo and he(cousin) asked me if they(Comp Turbo) could use my car for testing a drop in turbo. Being my only car I had to decline. This was in the summer though. I have not meet this guy yet to ask him questions on this upgrade.

I probably should've looked at their website before bumping this earlier. Just looked at it a second ago, and they got something up, but not a whole lot of information.

http://compturbo.com/spotlights/evo-4-9-replacement

http://www.cavalliturbo.com/9606-Evo.php
(I can't click on the links at the top right that say Stage 1 Stage 2 etc)

The FP Green HTA that I had on my car shot the bed at about 13 psi at part throttle. No shaft play, no warning, just broke the shaft in half. FP can blow me for all i care as the turbo had less than 6k miles onbit at 24psi.

Figured my argument would have as much relevance as Batty did posting about his friends sisters cousins stupid fast supra and the issues they had with comp.... I have heard nothing but great things about comp even from guys at AMS and STM
