Get the wheels off the ground and try to wiggle them up/down. if there is any play at all, the wheel bearing is bad. Wheel bearing failures have multiple symptoms that differ from one another and one failure can sound completly drifferent from another. The only thing in common is play in the bearing.

i had the same problem as i posted before but i figured out that it was in fact the wheel bearing, you can buy the whole assembly for about $100 and takes about an hour to do if the bolts break loose fairly easily
