Which Mobil 1

Im looking at 10w 30 in socal on a very mildly modified 9 with about 55k miles.

Ive read to stay away from mobil extended performance but wanted to know if mobil high mileage is better than regular mobil 1 for my particular application.

Ive searched and could not find info between these2 only on redline vs amsoil vs mobil etc. But i just want to know which is better BETWEEN MOBIL HIGH MILEAGE or REGULAR MOBIL 1

I have 140K miles on my evo that has had 400awhp for about 4 years now. My engine has only seen 10w30 Mobile 1. I know its not the best, but I have had no issues (knock on wood) and my compression in my motor is still 160 across all 4 cyclinders that last time I checked...

Personally i would recommend AMS oil. Its cheaper than buying from the parts store and better oil all together. If you havent heard about it, or you have and arent sure check it out. i use 10w 40.

Mobil 1 is totally fine with a lightly modded evo.

10-30 regular mobil 1 Factory Recommended.

It works.

mobile 1 is fine with lightly modded, but lets go ahead and start practicing good hygiene for our evo. ams 10-40. cheaper and better. you can get ams oil thats rated 10000 between oil changes. obviously with a modded beast you would never wait that long, but atleast you have some comftorability between 3000 to 5000 miles with premium oil.

The high mileage is better. It has additives that arent epa approved for new cars but are better for the engine, ZDDP specifically. I use the Mobil 1 15w50 in a pinch if I need oil and I am unable to get Amsoil that moment since Walmart sells it.

There should be some UOAs from M1 high mileage and various other mobil 1 oils. Between those two though I would stick with M1 high mileage, it has more additives in it.
