comp clutch stg 4 updated reviews...
Yea his review was what got me interested in the first place. He was making 500whp and close to 500tq on his 2.4
I got in touch with English racing a while back and they didn't reccommend the stage 3 saying it doesn't hold up to launching so who knows. Would love to see a review when you get some miles on it.
I use to use comp clutch but the engagement point kept changing and then one day the spring popped out of the disc locking up my transmission.. I did a ton of research as to why this happened and turns out the materials used to make the hub is very cheap metal. Infact the whole clutch kit is made in china. Very cheaply made.
I have since then made the switch to a company called Clutchnet where everything is made Inhouse in south El Monte ca. And what is amazing is that they patented the hub design that CC tried to copy but failed.

I see. Typically my experience in the past with the engagement point changing is when the clutch gets slipped too much under a launch or quick acceleration. I will know first hand this year though, I have decided on the Comp St4 clutch. I plan on drag racing the car frequently this year and CC is a favorite to a lot of vendors that I have spoken with.

I bet that was the old stg 3 that had the kevlar 2300 series that would glaze over when slipped or launched. They have since changed that to ceramic 2600 series. Since thn the reveiws have been mch better.

Tob instead of using the one that comes with the kit.
