Rebuilt Transfer Case Leak?

Recently I just had my trans and tcase rebuilt at Jacks Transmissions. I installed it and everything seemed to be good. After putting a hundred or so miles on it I put it up on jack stands and crawled under it to double check everything. I found that the t-case is obviously leaking.. but the question is, where is it leaking from? This sucks as I am scheduled to get tuned next week. Is it the o-ring leaking where the housing comes apart? Could it be the case bolts themselves not being tight enough? I know they upgrade them from 8-10mmm as part of the rebuild. Its a pretty slow leak and I will probably continue to get it tuned.

Any info would be much appreciated.

It's not the o-ring between the trans and t-case. It looks like its the case leaking on the t-case. Try to give those upgraded bolts a turn or two.

The fluid is redline heavy shock proof.

What is with all these leaks? I have taken a tcase apart myself and swapped parts of cases and mine didn't leak. I'm sure it's just a simple fix but sucks that it has to be taken out if car.

Did you torque the bolts down correctly?

It is probably the small oring between the tcase and trans.

i have almost the same problem after getting it rebuilt by jacks. urs looks like it "just" needs to be torqued down. ("looks")

mine on the other hand blows fluid out of the vent whenever it wants to. havent found a fix. havent driven

mitsujoe- small oring wont leak from the tcase, it'll leak where it mounts together.

If its blowing out the Vent, you wanna check your trans fluid. your trans fluid could be going into the Tcase Via the seal between the Tcase and the Trans OR like in my case the inner seal on the passanger side. The Trans Oil Travels thru the Tcase in a lil oilway to the otherside of the Tcase to lube up the passanger side bearing of the Tcase Pretty crazy eh? there is a inner seal you cant see unless its apart, and NO you cant buy this from mitsu. reason behind it, the Tcase fluid isnt high enough to lube the bearing properly.

Any solutions to this? Mine is leaking from the same joint, even after changing the big O ring oil seal.
