Here are some updated pics of the new HD2 piston. Mrboost05, the part numbers are good but they are still technically prelease and not available.

Forgot to ask for the production stuff. These I ordered without gas ports, Jeff's methanol pistons are vertical.

The shelf stock HD2 parts will have 8 lateral gas ports.

I have a question about these pistons. I see they aren't making 10:1 comp any more. Well not on the shelf. But they do have 10.5:1. Is that a big jump for comp ratio's? I am build a 2.0 and I will be running e85 most of the time. But in case I am not around a e85 pump I will witch over to 93. (We only have one e85 pump here where I live) Just wondering if I should go with 10.5:1 or 9:1. Or just go with a different brand all together that has 10:1 on the shelf?

I prefer to run 9:1 motors myself anyway, but if you want a 10:1 motor that technically would be a custom piston. Since they spec the pistons out with a 0.042 gasket (stock) and most of us run a 0.051, there is a drop in compression anyway. 10:1 motors are limited to 20-21psi for the most part anyway from what I have seen...safely on 92.

9:1 on e85? Wouldn't I be better with 10.5:1 on e85? I am bearly going to be running 93. And from what I hear it's all about the tuner.

10.5:1 doesnt seem to add as much as the potential headache. If we can run 8.30 at 170+ running a 9:1 motor I am pretty sure it will work We are switching to methanol and higher compression this year but thats another story.

MrBoost- according to the new part numbers the pistons you are looking for are K667M855 for a 9.5:1CR or if you plan to be on e85 the 10.5:1CR Pistons are K668M855
