GSC Power-Division releases R2 camshafts

R2 for Evo VIII are now available. Visit Englishracing.net to purchase-

http://www.shopenglishracing.com/-NE...e-Release.html

So after much testing and development, I am happy to announce that the R2 profiles for high power stroker motors will be available starting Tuesday the 12th. Finally being able to source a steady stream of the billets needed to produce the high lift and high duration camshafts known officially as R2 has taken awhile but will be worth the wait.

Initially we will have Evo IX cams available with the VIII cams coming near the end of the month or beginning of March. The R2 is meant for larger motors (2.2+) with large turbos specifically focusing on power below 9,000rpm.

Here are the specs-

Evo IX R2 MIVEC camshaft set

236/236* at 1mm and 274* advertised
12.1mm intake, 11.9mm exhaust
130/115* centerline
5041 spring set highly recommended

Evo VIII R2 camshaft set

236/236* at 1mm and 274* advertised
12.0mm intake, 12.0mm exhaust
109/115* centerline
5041 spring set highly recommended

Pricing will be standard and in line with the current S series of camshafts, $660MSRP and $561 sale price. These will be added to http://www.power-divsion.com and also the http://www.shopenglishracing.com online store.

Enjoy

Aaron

Perfect timing! I'm for sure getting a set of these. 2.4 SR w/6466 and these cams should make some decent power.

Does that mean you want added to the backorder or that you are going to just get them in the future?

Less aggressive ramp rate, going to idle more aggressively, less lift on the exhaust. I havent had the 288/280 in here but the 280/280 makes the same power as S2s +/- but idles far more lumpy. Knowing what I do about Kevin's nose profile I think these are less powerful than S3s.
