Picked up some mivec tomei 280 cams for my 2.4L. I have a oem intake and a hks 272 exhaust on it and its making 552/455 on a 6765 at 22 psi. Stock IM and TB. I will be upgrading the springs/retainers to either GSC or kigly since i have some BC crap in there for now. Any one ever use these cams? I know that there was a test back in 2006 or 2007 that i have seen on here and looks like these cams would pick up some power.

i havent seen them on a 2.4, but i would imagine you are in for a treat.. your old setup was not "ideal"

They are aggressive but not as much as the STM650's which I have on my 2.4LR that DB has and is building for me. I think we are both in for a real nice treat.

 

I don't want nothing to crazY. I still want to dailly drive the car once in a while to work and back 45miles like I did last summer. Put over 7k miles in less then 2 months driving it to work and back and around town. Loved every moment of it
