Greddy type S problems

Question Greddy type S problems

I just bought a greddy type s blowoff valve with flange kit and we adjusted the spring to tight and the car even when i first put it on stalls every time i put the car in neutral i dont know what the problem is but can someone please help me the blowoff recirc back into the intake and still does it

i wouldnt recommend removing the spring, honestly too much work (for lazy people). Believe it or not you are going to have to loosen up the set screw more and more until you are satisfied, the tighter you make it the less air it will recirc at idle, which is what is giving you those problems.. trust me.

thanks man well we changed it last night to a 1G and cleaned out the thorottle body which was kinda dirty and it still dies when you put in neutral dont know what it is i think im gonna take it to the dealer on monday

how about putting the stock one back on to see what happens, before you try bringing it back to the dealer..?

On the bov greddy did you only connect the top fitting on the greddy or did you connect both up? Connecting both would cause stalling. I have your mods and then some with the greddy and have not had any stalling issues. I left in both springs and tightened the adjustment screw about half way down . So that the bov holds and doesnt sputter under part throttle. Mine is setup for recir. Holds to 23+psi boost, only tried it once to see

I removed the middle spring and installed the Type-S. It ran very well. I tightened it a little and it runs great.

I do not have little nipple hooked up to anything.

i adjusted it and made it loose almost to the end but when i accelerate slow not building much boost it flutters but if i hit more boost it whistles do you think i should tighten it or loosen it some more but i also noticed that the way i have it now it dropped boost couldnt hold 20 psi thanks

i just installed the type s and it also whisltes - sounds like crap.

i had this bov on my turbo focus and it sounded like it is supposed to - swoooosh.

how does everyone's sound?
