Oil catch can

Not pleased with the aftermarket catch cans available, especially in dealing with the confines of the engine compartment. I put one together with parts I had laying around. I previously had a small K&N filter on the valvecover port, but it became clogged and messy rather easily. So until something I find that's better than this functional and cheap solution, this will do. The intake box funnel was off just for the photo.

A dab of epoxy keeps the fittings sealed and semi permanent.

Donor bottle that fits in place just perfectly.
Very easy to put in some stainless mesh or whatever else to help keep the oil and vapors in. The bottle is clear making it easy to see when it's time to drain or put a new bottle, perhaps grape juice next time....

Omar,

I chuckle at it myself
It's not pretty, but it works. It's not really visible anyways tuck in there. I may have my machinist CNC one now that I know fitment, etc. I'll live with the ghetto bottle for now.

The other hose can go back into the intake hose before the turbo where the hose off the valvecover originally goes to or vented.

Flame me if I'm mistaken...

It allows the oil vapor to condense and collect before sending the rest of the hydrocarbon vapor to the intake. This prevents the oil from condensing in the turbo compressor, IC and associated plumbing. At least this is the case in a street legal/emissions legal application. In a race set up it prevents oil from dripping on to the track.
