One GIANT headache on this trans install
so basically (i just learned) you shouldn't turn the steering wheel too much if its not connected to the steering rack. I did, when i was putting things back together. That will break the clock spring part which is the electrical connection for the horn button and the airbag. No horn/SRS light on now. I ordered a clock spring and if cant find a srs reset tool then I think I might need to mail out my module to get it reset

Its usually greasy so wipe off grease and apply the mark. I recommend paint as a sharpie mark isnt durable enough.
You should mark it shaft before you disconnect it from the column. Center your steering rack so your tie rods are at equal distances (dead straight direction wise) and then reconnect the rack to the column. I pulled the subframe a couple times to either install a sway bar or clean the subframe. Sometimes its to easily remove the transfercase.
