Acd banjo bolt specs
Acd banjo bolt specs
I've searched and searched and have found no answers.
Does anybody know the torque specs for the banjo bolt located atop the transfer case on an evo 9?
Thank you

Its not that much, maybe 10Nm. Its a hollow bolt and will snap easily. When I installed the AN fitting adapter to replace that banjo bolt that's what I torqued mine down to. It just goes on nice and snug.

My thread pitch guage agrees with you! I was just worried about the softer material it is, and like you mentioned... the hollowness.
I looked through my FSM for nearly and hour... and was not able to find a spec. I did find a spec for the Power Steering rack banjo bolt, and it is 52ft-lbs! I believe it is a 16mm though.
I ended up snugging it up by hand... hopefully it doesn't leak.

I am rebuilding my 2005 evo 8 from a roller so I just have buckets of bolts. I can’t find a banjo bolt big enough for the ACD hydraulic line that bolts on top of the transfer case. Would any of you happen to know the size and thread of that banjo bolt? Or where I can order it from?
