Help! Torque Specs ughhh

Hey guys,

Searched high and low for these specs, even through the manual.

Need the following torque specs any help would be great!

On the Transfer case: the tail section that the driveshaft slides into. The 4 12 mm bolts.

The Acd banjo bolt on the transfer case

And the 4 nuts and bolts that connect the middle of the drive shaft together.

Thanks guys!

Lol. That is how I currently have them. Just don't want my damn driveshaft to fall in half while driving down the road haha. But I will take your word for it.

Thanks guys!

Youre doing the right thing in getting the torque value

We've all done it & continue to torque by feel, but that time when you over do it & snap a bolt

Torquing to spec leaves out the guess work, especially on rotating assemblies (i.e. drive shaft)

Center drive shaft bolts 24+-1 or 25+-4 ft lbs depending on the page I'm looking at.

If you can find someone with an FTP site, I can upload the service manual. I think the EcuFlash website has it avail for download, also.

i think those torque specs arent in the maual because there are no "rebuild" instructions in the manual.

so.... if i was you, around 25 n.m since your in aluminum threads.

Every torque spec for every part is listed in the shop manual. That's where the pics above are from. And where are you seeing aluminum threads?

Ah. I didn't see that in the pic posted above and thought that's what he was replying to. LOL.

Then I scrolled back up and re-read this, "The Acd banjo bolt on the transfer case"
