Exedy Twin Wedge Collar pop off? HELP!

Was driving my evo home from work did a WOT pull 2nd to 3rd to attempted 4th gear.

I put it in 2nd shifted into 3rd gear then tried going into 4th and it locked me out. I was very confused being this is the first time that has ever done that. "This was WOT"

I instantly felt the clutch pedal lose pressure, it felt not right soft and weird. Tired pumping it, it did nothing. IT DIDNT GET STUCK TO THE FLOOR. It would not let me get into any gear, It was like hitting a brick wall every gear.

When the car is off it goes into every gear like butter. I started it in Neutral tired putting it into any gear it wouldn't let me, if i kind of forced it you would feel the car wanna creep forward a little but not go into gear.

There is no hydrick leaks anywhere, "i just put in the STM SS braided line" and the slave cylinder is working confirmed by pushing in the clutch and it is moving.

Yes i was really shifting fast doing a 3rd to 4th "locked me out"

Yes i have a clutch fork stopper on it.

Yes the Wedge Collar is double ringed.

Is it possible for the Wedge collar to still pop off?

PROBLEM FOUND! Whole Twin disk is for sale make me an offer

Yes, have to keep up with the adjustment on the fork stopper. Even then it's possible sometimes. You can look up in the hole in the bellhousing and see what's happened.

Did you ever force it into gear? If so, you'll probably need an overhaul, to replace sheared synchros.

The clutch def isnt disengaging. Twins have that "chatter" when they disengage, if thats gone, nothing is open the clutch up when you push the pedal.

i will! There was about 6,000 i think, everytime i take it out i beat the hell out of it. I did somthing really dumb last year revving it up to 5-6k slipping it to get it home for a 1 hour drive. I bet that warped the plates and it just went now im not sure.

I should have it out tommorow, ill put up another vid when i get it out or pictures.

1/2 UPDATE: Its taking a little longer then what i expected "due to working weird hours and dont wanna get under the car by myself."

Everything is off but the Bell housing bolts and the transmission motor mount and obv. the wedge collar "double ringed" im sure that will be a blast taking out tonight.

Will post up pics if i see any damage.

UPDATE: I got the transmission off, wedge collar was still on so it didnt pop. The pressure plate looks perfect and the fingers on it look perfect also.

My hex alan key isnt cutting it. I need to go to pep boys and get a hex socket to take off the pressure plate.

So if the springs arnt shot or the clutch plates are not warped, im kind of confused on what it could be? I really thought it was going to be pressure plate fingers or wedge collar it isnt either!

well that's odd... I didn't watch the video you posted but it sure sounded like wedge collar to me.. I'd test the slave cylinder have someone push the clutch in inside the car and check to see everything moves the way it should.. of course, you kinda already took all that stuff off the car though lol

That was the first think i checked the slave cylinder is fine. I just replaced it with a brand new one 2 months ago and comfirmed it was working before i pull the tran's off.
