hello people. i assume a lot of people have mods similar to mine on their evo and have dynoed. due to lack of AWD dynos in the immediate area i have not had a chance to jump on. was wondering if anyone could estimate my WHP or let me know what they dynoed at with similar mods. i know all evos dynoed differently stock, about 225-240 at the wheels from what i saw. mods are high flow air filter, greddy profec B II @ 20psi, apexi S-AFC II with AMS settings and AMS turboback with hi flow cat. thanks guys.

That should be an easy 300 with those mods.

I'd say between 320 and 330 if you are running 93 octane. On California **** water somewhere between 310 and 320. What do you have the cam gears set at?

Cam gears and Cams are going in this weekend. I have heard to set the cams at -5 but then i heard if you have a flash that you should set them to either -3 or -2. I have a call into HKS since I don’t think the directions say but I can’t read Japanese so I wouldn’t know. Anyway still haven’t heard back from HKS guess I will try again Tuesday. Do you have any recommendations??

Thanx
Chris

thanks for the replies guys, i figured right around 300, maybe 290 something. sounds pretty good to me. as for the guy with cams yeah you should knock around 320, a friend of mine with my mods plus cams, dont remember which, did get to a dyno and did like 318-322 or something.

Keith, you think that much hp? I agree IF he has some sort of boost control. He probably just forgot to mention it in his post.

With cams, Vishnu recommends cam gears set at -3. But I have heard of good shops also recommending -5.

Not true - some dyno's show stock levels from 205-215.

Yeah, my numbers are dynojet numbers with 20 psi of boost to redline. Didn't notice that he didn't list a boost controler.

FYI I just got back from a little light tuning on the dyno today, came out with 310awhp and 300awtq. mods are as follows. HKS RS intake, UR 3" turbo back (no cat), Greddy emanage, greddy profec e01, Hard Ic piping. This was very light and SAFE daily driver tune. I wanted it as safe as possible, not timing was being pulled that we could see. Car runs like a champ

Was this on a dynojet with 91 octane pisswater? If so I must declare myself the mother-f'ing-man on estimating HP based on a mod list and fuel used

Great numbers, can't wait to see what you do at the track! Are you still on the stock clutch or are you running an upgraded unit?
