Help, power loss

So this morning I had a stock IC, injen upper IC pipes and intake, stock LICP....put on ETS V2 LICP, ETS 3.5" core, ETS short route pipes, ETS intake tube, thin battery, everything is tight, however i feel like i'm boosting wastegate pressure, like 5-10psi not the full 19ish psi...

the only difference here is there is no second nipple for the boost solenoid to connect up to on the ETS intake tube, vs stock or INJEN tube, I tried running it at first with the boost solenoid just hooked to the J pipe and wastegate, then ran a T off the breather on the intake tube and connected the stock boost controller to that, whereas before it wasn't connected at all, and this made no difference,

does anyone have a clue? i can't imagine going to an ETS intake would require you to run some sort of electronic aftermarket controller, or force you to tap a hole in the intake and twist some sort of nipple in there to connect the hose to...

to recap there are no weak connections in the piping...everything appears to be hooked up absolutely correct the only difference is the STOCK boost solenoid isn't connected exactly the same..

Below you see the solenoid, the bottom tube is the one connected to the T junction that goes to the head and to the intake tube

A friend of mine seems to think it's because I don't have a tune it's going into LIMP mode, is this possible? with the short route, and no restriction in the exhaust?

There's no "limp" mode on the pre-X's that I know of, at least not in the sense that it just cuts off the boost solenoid.

There's a vacuum diagram on the bottom side of the hood you can refer to to make sure everything is reconnected properly. If there's not nipple on your intake to connect the solenoid to, just leave it venting to atmosphere.

yeah i tried venting it and it's just not spiking anymore, it's just holding a lower amount of boost than it's supposed to

going to try putting the stock filter to turbo tube on and see if that does anything...if not i'm going to pressure test it again, just seems weird, there are no loose connections anywhere at all

What does your boost gauge say? or are you logging boost all thru a cable and Evoscan?

If it is a MBC have you tried adjusting it a bit tighter?

Have you done a boost leak to see if you have a leak ? Im guessing major boost leak here...

Maybe it's because neither of the solenoid hoses go to the intake. One goes to the waste gate actuator and the other goes to the jpipe (turbo outlet)

No MBC, he's using the stock BCS as is evident from the pic he posted.
