Great thread! I found it with a search as I'm trying to figure out the same thing, but I'm going the other way.

I'm new here so I don't mean to hi-jack the op's thread, but I see that it has been dormant for awhile so I hope this is ok.

I bought a 9 with a big turbo and cams already in place. I was told it is a Buschur 3582r and the cams are HKS276. This thing is waaaay to slow to spool.

The 1st page of this thread focuses on recommendations to the op for him to stay with the stock turbo while he learns to autocross the car, but because a turbo swap is an absolute necessity in my case, what do you guys recommend?

I see a lot of folks running stock 9 turbos, but what else would work well?

Also, unless I'm missing something, it looks like I've got some pretty good cams in it already?

Thanks in advance

The stock 9 turbo is actually very good for autox especially the RS version with titanium wheel. Another great option would the be the 6.5TME, it spools faster than the 9s
If you can afford to spend some more, the HKS GTII, simply the fastest spool I've ever seen!

Downgrade your cams to HKS264, the GSC s1 is a good option too.
