Yes, but didn't see you sticking a screwdriver and a flashlight into a 1" hole while pulling on a release fork, turning a screwdriver and swinging a hammer at the fork protrusion.

I guess only time will tell how this works in the real world Evo application as installed in a transmission case.

so if a person gets monoloc does this mean that a clutch fork stop is now not needed?

What do you mean? Will it be difficult to take out? Per the video it's the same as stock to insert and remove

How recent? I bought and ACT clutch for my STi about 6 months ago and actually today after a miss shift the clutch went all the way down to the floor . I pull back on the clutch fork and it doesn't want to engage the pressure plate. I imagine the throw out bearing is done. The funny thing is that I purchased a PTE 6466 from Nate at MAP last week. Too much power bro.

I have the xtreme pressure plate with a full face disk and this asap.

This product guarantees that the TOB separation won't happen or just much less likely? It would appear to be susceptible to this same issue unless I missed a key feature. I assume the issue was more about the ring sliding up/down the fingers and this product is one piece so the "ring" is always in a guaranteed position.

The ring can't become dislodged and that is what causes the failures. Since the ring is cast in place you know it isn't moving.

I had a monoloc in a new clutch on the work bench and I was playing with it, snapping the throwout bearing in and out and all of a sudden it wouldn't release. I finally got it apart after considerable work. Now its in my car and I figure the connection is permanent.
