Fuel injectors next?

Vehicle Details:

WW EVO VIII
Engine & Fuel:

Black AEM Cam Gears
Gates Kevlar Timing Belt
Zaklee Clear Cam Cover
Stock 2005 VIII Turbo (10.5 hotside)
Kelford 272 cams
OEM Mitsu Head Gasket
L19 Head Studs
Walbro 255HP fuel pump

Ignition, Intake & Exhaust:

HKS DLI-II Ignition Amplifier
EVO IX Metal Blowoff Valve
ETS 2.5" Upper and Lower Intercooler Pipes
AMS 3.75" FMIC
Samco Intake Pipe w/ MAF adapter & K&N intake
Hallman Pro MBC Black
Buschur 3" Stainless Catback Exhaust for JDM 9 Rear Bumper
Stainless 3" Downpipe
Stainless 3" Resonated Test Pipe

I was informed by the prior owner that it did ~300awhp on a dyno dynamics. I believe my next step would be to get increased injectors? Anyone else have recommendations?

I am switching the Intake filter/Maf Adapter to Perrin. I am making slow changes and future holds a CRBD BBK-Full or go with a MAP Ef turbo. So whatever makes sense for now to support the future turbo is what I'd like to hear!

So Injectors, Perrin Filter then Tune. I am hoping for closer to 350+ range. End goal is 400awhp weekend street/track warrior.

What fuel are you using and have access to?

You can get FIC 1100 Hz. They also just came out with a new injector that has new technology that has a different spray pattern causing more HP/TQ. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...orsepower.html

Let me know if you need a tune.

I'm sorry, I should have added that. I'll be running 93OCT. E85 is not readily available in my area so I won't even worry about it.

I did see that thread and there was no date on release. I thought it was a future release type of thread for others to see what is coming out. That's what I got from it atleast.

I would probably go with the new FICs as it's not an immediate requirement if the release date is respectable.

I believe the current tune is from Jestr and wanted to get it tuned in person as I am in the TriState with great tuners in driving distance.

Unless you're planning on getting a larger turbo, the stock injectors should be enough for around 25psi boost on a stock turbo.

That's true for 93 octane up to 350 hp. Not going to get to 400 hp with the stockers.

I will be getting a bigger turbo before next year. I will be doing improvements during winter months. So the next set of updates will be injectors + turbo. Since injectors aren't expensive, I could do it early and see if I could get any gains in the meantime!
