Reconnecting battery terminal = rough idle???

This has happened 5-6 times now ever since my Kelford272 install a year ago, but when I disconnect my positive battery terminal, then reconnect it, my car has trouble idling, especially when coming to a stop after driving. This usually goes away within a day or so, sometimes within a couple hours of driving. I'm still running a MAF - is it possible the MAF is recalculating values at idle after I disconnect/reconnect the battery? It takes the MAF a little while to adjust again?

And I double-checked, no sugur in the gas tank either.

Undo the negative cable and the electrical system is dead and no chance of arcing.

The MAF doesn't do the recalculating, the ECU does. Anytime you disconnect the battery the old values are gone.
