i have the 270 pro cam.
it makes great power and drives nicely!
we were able to tune out most of the lope at idle.

they make wicked power and are all around great cams!

So do you need to degree them to make them idle semi normal? Thank you.

I'd like to know if luckybull installed them on a IX, or a non-Mivec Evo?

I must be old school because I love the muscle car lope.

I also have the tomei 270 pro cams, not pon cams. They give a really nice muscle car type idle. Not super aggressive, but aggressive enough to put a smile on your face

The car likes to lope a bit when riding slow in first, but that's it.

+1 Love me a lopey car at idle . My 9 has a little lope to it with just the stock cams and I would love to hear more of it, never understood why people tune out the lope unless they're going for a sleeper type of deal but lets be realistic here we drive EVO's

Did you install them straight up(0/0)?

I installed mine straight up. I just got tuned on these cams. WIth the last setup I made 278 hp 268 ft lbs at 21 psi. This setup I upgraded to oem stock 9 turbo vs. evo 8 turbo, And Tomei 270 cams 10.7 in 10.2 exh. I dynoed 314 hp/ 320 ft lbs at 23.5 psi. Keep in mind I also put back in the stock catalytic converter compared to a test pipe I had with the previous dyno run, and we turned down the timing a bit. previous setup was like 15s, current timing is around 11s. We were seeing a bit of knock which I think is phantom knock due to my the vibrations from some things I need to address. To play it safe we turned the timing down but still made nice numbers, imo. both of these runs were on 91 pump gas.

On the street, these cams really wake up the car. I love the driveability and response of these cams.
