When is all this competition going to lead to lower price for us, the consumer?

You probably won't see a lower price from WORKS (aside from the occassional sale)due to the continual development that goes on here. After all, we're just around the corner from the release of the 05's with even more involved within the ECU. We have are hands on an 04 ECU with a P0300 Mitsu reflash that we are in the process of integrating with our own Brain Flash. WORKS just doesn't stop development, we are continuing it.

since you are developing for the 05.. does this mean u will lower prices on 03 flashes? The developement costs for the 03 flash are no longer a concern.. so shouldnt the price drop?

I can only speak for my own company - I am the first to have a working '05 reflash for Evos and I am charging the same for it as the previous flashes as it took the same development work as the former years flashes did.

My through the mail flash is $199 and the fully custome tuned version is $299 - $399 depending on where you get it and how many cars I am tuning (volume discounts)

As for Jan 1 - all the prices will be rising slightly on all my flashes

I'll say this, because I know a vendor never would want to make such a forward statement that could possibly hurt their business:

I can't believe some of you people are asking this question! Two of these companies offer mail in flashes for only $200. Look at other imports (that happen to cost thousands and thousands of dollars less than the Evo)- they sure as heck can't get guaranteed gains like the Vishnu Cannonball and Dynoflash for a measley 200 dollar investment. How cheap can some of you guys get? Open your wallet and support these vendors with the small cost that is required to get 20whp+ in gains. If you can't afford $200, stop being whiney beeotches and leave your Evo stock or buy a car you can afford to mod.

This feels like when I had a DSM all over again and everybody cried about $35 parts being too expensive. Sheesh.

WORKS has not stopped development of the 03 and 04 flashes. We are continually looking at potential areas of improvement as well as optimizing the our product line with each.

Told me i wasn't worth working with because i didn't spend a ton of money with him. I was struggling to get my ECU back from him because i desperately needed it. Said if it wasn't to him by 1pm, too bad for me because he had better sh*t to do and he couldn't wait for it. while we were discussing this, he told me he had to go, he had another call. then hung up.

**** poor customer service
