What to expect upgrading to r2s

Boys...I have a 2.4lr fp black on pump gas setup and looking to get the most out of it. I currently have gscs2 cams and I'm wondering what gains (if any) I can expect out of upgrading to s3 or r2 cams? I can understand on e85 it would go crazy and make more power everywhere in the rev range but on pump gas??? Has anyone done anything like this?

I just got mine installed and even at low boost I'm saw the AFR lean out 8% everywhere in boost over the Buschur cams I had. Which indicates an increase in power across the board with the r2 cams. From my calculations it would be safe to say the r2 cams will give a 4-5% increase in power everywhere over the s2 cams. So if you have 450whp it will give you an 18-22hp increase over s2's.

Derek, are you running a 2.4L motor too?

For cars that are more limited on boost by lower quality fuel's making the engine more efficient is the name of the game. It is a lot more expensive than cranking it up on e85 and the results are smaller. But cams and ported head plus intake and exhaust manifolds make a big difference.
