oh yeah with dynoflash there's now way in hell they could tell you have a mod to your car, and if they check for software.... before going to the dealrship, Al could flash it back to stock and then reflashed back after inspection at no additional charge, just have to pay for shipping

Is this really true? Can someone confirm this? If so I might do that down the road...

but first I'd like to address the issues at hand (have numerous problems besides this one)

I like your idea of putting it on a dyno. Even better, get your buddy with the EVO that feels stronger to go with you as a comparison. I distrust my personal perceptions "my car feels slow". The only scientific way is actual measurement.
