Im sitting at 388 on 93oct just wanna free up more power. I have hks 272s now. But I wanna squeeze a lil more out. What would make more hp/trq? Upgrade the cams or an o2 dump? I have the valvetrain already. Just wondering.The turbo is an hks 7460r.

S2 or die. The cams will broaden the power band way more than the dump. I have both. Muse dump and s2 cams. The cams by far were the better investment.

 

What's on there now? Is it the stock O2 housing, or what? Why don't you post up your complete modlIst anyway? Don't leave us guessing.

 

Megan o2 housing. It has every bolt on u can do without built head/bottom.

 

So, you have done a ported TB, as well as porting the IM? Specifically, I just was wondering what IC is on there. Oh yeah what is your peak boost level on 93, what injectors, and who tunes it? Sorry fo being nosy. LOL.

 

Sorry for going OT. I basically agree with everyone that the cams are going to help the most. I am in a similar quandry myself with my VIII's next mod. I like either the S2's or the Poncam Type R 270's.

 

I did both at the same time, no complaints.

 

Assuming relatively low boost levels(under 26#)given the 93 octane gasoline, the dump is not gonna make much difference since he already has the Meagan O2. The cams are the better call.
