Hi Guys,
do anyone have a clue on why my idling suddenly sky rocket as all the while my idle rpm is1000~1100 aic-con off but now its suddenly rocket til 1800~2000rpm.

Ive temporary tried lowering the idle by adjusting the TB screw but even til max the idle still 1400rpm.

Check the throttle cable and no unusual jam.

No unusual vacumn leak.

Will it be the TB blade jam?

Did you actually do a boost leak test or you just don't think there is a leak? A vacuum leak will have the same symptoms as what you described.

 

Hi Evo8426...I am surprise that a vacumn leak on a SD can caused so much of the surge.

So far ive not done any vacuum leak test as the previous test shown that my valve cover outlet source to the oil catch tank is leaking.
Will this be cause of the problem say after the air leak is getting greater on the valve cover?

no unusual leak observed and just wonder will a faulty Idling Valve control cause a sudden surge on the Idling?
